Embark on Sami Siida's enchanting two-hour reindeer sled adventure, where you can chase the Northern Lights in the Arctic wilderness. Immerse yourself in Sami culture, surrounded by nature’s beauty and traditional stories around a warm bonfire.
This guided tour offers a magical experience as you glide through snow-covered landscapes in a reindeer-drawn sled. Listen to the rhythmic sound of the reindeers' hooves while witnessing the stunning Northern Lights dance above if conditions allow. Alternatively, enjoy a daytime ride and spot wildlife such as Norwegian moose. After the ride, relax by the bonfire inside a Lavvo (Sami tent), where Sami hosts share tales about their semi-nomadic culture and perform the traditional yoik, a unique form of Sami music.
Warm drinks and Masi cake are served to round off this unforgettable experience, giving you a taste of Sami hospitality. Whether under the glowing night sky or the crisp daylight, this adventure offers a perfect blend of culture, nature, and tradition.

Food and beverages such as soft drinks and alcohol are available additionally. There will be a live bonfire over which your coffee will be made. Please note that it will be dark outside at the start of the tour. Participants should dress warmly with hats, mittens, and sturdy winter shoes. A winter overall can be loaned if necessary.

Additional Information
The tour lasts 2 hours and accommodates 2 participants per sled. It is not recommended for pregnant women or those with limited mobility.

Take bus number 42 or 170 from Alta city center. It takes about 10 minutes by bus to get to Sami Siida. There are quite frequent departures.
